Opening a Book
Section titled “Opening a Book”Click on any book in your library to open it in the reader. ReadAny will remember your last reading position and restore it automatically.
Navigation
Section titled “Navigation”| Action | Shortcut |

You can also navigate by:
- Table of Contents — Click the TOC icon in the toolbar to jump to any chapter
- Progress bar — Click or drag the progress bar at the bottom to jump to a specific position
- Page slider — Use the slider to quickly browse through pages
Text Selection
Section titled “Text Selection”Select text in the reader to reveal the action toolbar:
- Highlight — Choose from 5 colors to highlight the selected text
- Note — Add a Markdown note attached to the selection
- Copy — Copy the selected text to clipboard
- Translate — Translate the selected text
- Ask AI — Ask the AI about the selected text
Sidebar Panels
Section titled “Sidebar Panels”The reader sidebar includes:
- Table of Contents — Chapter navigation
- Annotations — View and manage all highlights and notes
- Search — Full-text search within the book
- AI Chat — Chat with AI about the book
- Mind Map — Visual chapter structure overview
